Work Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM IST , Monday to Friday, & 1st & 3rd Saturdays

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team, preferably with experience in U.S.-based construction estimating. The candidate should be proficient in quantity takeoff (BOQ preparation) using software such as Planswift and familiar with U.S. construction standards, bidding procedures, and subcontractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) & Takeoff:
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on tender drawings and specifications, covering all disciplines (civil, architectural, structural, MEP, etc.).
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from 2D drawings and 3D models using estimating software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
- Bid Preparation & Documentation:
- Assist in the preparation of bid documents, including project scopes, pricing breakdowns, and supporting documents.
- Request and coordinate subcontractor quotations, ensuring scope alignment and competitive pricing.
- Prepare tender documentation queries to consultants and clients to obtain missing or unclear information.
- Project Review & Analysis:
- Conduct initial project reviews, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents, to identify scope, materials,



and critical components.
- Review tender conditions, drawings, and specifications to ensure all systems and components are captured in estimates.
- Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports related to estimating activities and bid submissions.
- Record meeting minutes and coordinate with internal project managers and external vendors as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or cost management (U.S. construction experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar estimating software.
- Robust understanding of U.S. construction standards, materials, and bidding processes.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

- Prior experience working with U.S.-based contractors or clients.
- Familiarity with public procurement portals (e.g., Sam.gov, state DOT or municipal bid portals).
- Knowledge of rate analysis and preparation of work progress reports.
