Job Summary:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all plastic products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. This role oversees inspection teams, manages quality systems, implements corrective actions, and promotes continuous improvement across the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of quality inspectors and technicians.
- Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of plastic components, assemblies, and finished goods.
- Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation (control plans, inspection checklists, sampling plans, etc.).
- Investigate customer complaints and nonconformities; implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support the Quality Manager in maintaining certification and compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949).
- Perform audits (internal, process, and supplier) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor quality staff in inspection techniques, measurement systems,



and quality tools.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to solve quality issues and improve process capability.
- Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Polymer, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- 3–7 years of experience in quality assurance/control within a plastic manufacturing workplace (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, 5 Why, Pareto, FMEA, PPAP, MSA).
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (vernier caliper, micrometer, CMM, etc.) and testing standards (ASTM, ISO).
- Experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS implementation.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality management software (e.g., SAP QM, Minitab, or similar).

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
