Position: Quality Control Inspector – Finished Goods

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: On-site at Esquire Engineering's manufacturing facility in Vasai, Maharashtra About the Role: Esquire Engineering is looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, and quality-focused Quality Control Inspector – Finished Goods to ensure that all products manufactured by the company meet the required quality standards before they are packed and dispatched to customers.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting final inspections of completed products, identifying manufacturing defects, verifying products against approved specifications and drawings, and ensuring that only products that meet the required quality standards are released for packing and delivery.

This role is critical to establishing and maintaining a consistent final quality inspection process at Esquire Engineering.

The Quality Control

Inspector will ensure that defects and non-conformities are identified and addressed before products reach the customer.

The position is fully on-site at the Esquire Engineering manufacturing facility in Vasai, with regular interaction and coordination with the production and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities: Final Product Inspection:

Perform final quality inspections on finished products after the manufacturing and assembly processes are completed.

Inspect products for manufacturing defects, physical damage, incorrect assembly, poor finishing, and workmanship issues.

Verify finished products against approved drawings, specifications, dimensions, samples, and customer requirements.

Check the quality and accuracy of components, cutouts, mounting holes, labels, buttons, displays,



and other product features, as applicable.

Conduct basic functional and electrical checks on products where required.

Ensure that the final assembled product meets the required quality and functionality standards.

Defect

Identification & Corrective Action:

Identify, document, and report defective or non-conforming products.

Clearly separate and mark products requiring rework, repair, or rejection.

Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality issues and ensure that defective products are corrected before dispatch.

Monitor recurring quality issues and report them to management for appropriate corrective action.

Work closely with the manufacturing team on the factory floor to identify and address quality issues at the earliest possible stage.

Quality Documentation & Process: Maintain accurate quality inspection records, reports, and checklists for finished products.

Approve finished products for packing and dispatch only after they have successfully passed final inspection.

Perform random quality checks on batches of finished products when required.

Help develop and improve QC inspection procedures and checklists for different products.

Ensure quality standards are consistently followed throughout the manufacturing process.

Maintain a clean, organized,



and systematic inspection process. The candidate should conduct quality inspection of products including:

Elevator Car Operating Panels (COP)

Elevator Landing Operating Panels (LOP)

Push Buttons and Touch Buttons

Elevator Displays

Door Operating Components

Emergency Alarm Systems

Electronic and Electrical Assemblies

Other elevator components and products manufactured by Esquire Engineering Requirements & Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering workplace is preferred.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.

Basic knowledge of measurement and inspection tools, such as vernier calipers, measuring scales, and other relevant instruments.

Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic products is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and quality issues.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.

Responsible, disciplined, organized, and systematic approach to work.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of the final quality inspection process.

ITI, Diploma, or Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.

Must be willing and able to work full-time on-site at the Esquire Engineering manufacturing facility in Vasai.

Must be comfortable working directly with the manufacturing and production teams on the factory floor.
