Role Description This is a part time remote role for a Quality Control Inspector at The SM Records.

The Quality Control

Inspector will review and verify digital music and metadata to ensure they meet company quality standards before distribution. Daily tasks include inspecting audio files, artwork, and associated metadata for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with platform and internal guidelines. The role involves documenting issues,



coordinating with internal teams and clients to resolve quality concerns, and supporting continuous improvement of quality control processes.

The Quality Control

Inspector will also assist in maintaining quality records, reporting trends, and recommending adjustments that enhance content reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Inspection for digital content or similar environments.
- Experience or knowledge in Quality Assurance and Quality Management processes.
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Attention to detail in reviewing audio, artwork, and metadata for accuracy and consistency.
- Familiarity with digital music platforms, distribution workflows, or media asset management is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage part-time hours reliably.
- Basic technical proficiency with online content management systems and spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
- Prior experience in quality-focused roles within media, entertainment, or technology sectors is an advantage.
