Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing using LoadRunner or Apache JMeter. The ideal candidate should have experience in planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests for web, mobile, and API applications. The candidate should be able to identify performance bottlenecks, work closely with development and infrastructure teams, and help improve application performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand business and technical requirements and prepare performance test strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner or Apache JMeter.
- Plan and execute different types of performance tests such as Load Testing, Stress Testing, Spike Testing, Endurance (Soak) Testing, and Volume Testing.
- Create realistic workload models based on expected user traffic and business scenarios.
- Execute performance test cycles and monitor application behavior during test execution.
- Analyze test results and identify performance issues related to application, database, middleware, or infrastructure.
- Work with development, DevOps, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor system resources such as CPU, Memory, Disk, Network, JVM, and Database during performance testing.
- Prepare detailed performance test reports with observations, findings, and recommendations.
- Participate in performance tuning discussions and validate improvements after fixes.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Maintain performance testing documentation, scripts, and reusable components.
- Estimate testing effort and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
- Support production performance validation whenever required.
- Follow performance testing standards and best practices.





Mandatory Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
- Solid hands-on experience with LoadRunner or Apache JMeter.
- Good understanding of performance testing concepts including :
- Load Testing
- Stress Testing
- Spike Testing
- Endurance (Soak) Testing
- Volume Testing
- Experience in creating and maintaining performance test scripts.
- Experience in performance testing of Web Applications, APIs, and Microservices.
- Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and Web Services.
- Experience in workload modeling and test scenario creation.
- Ability to analyze performance reports and identify bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and system resource monitoring.
- Basic understanding of SQL for validating application data.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Java, Groovy, or JavaScript for script customization.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with container-based environments using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Exposure to version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of database performance analysis.
- Relevant certifications in Performance Testing, LoadRunner, or Apache JMeter are an added advantage.

Good to Have :

- Experience testing applications built on microservices architecture.
- Experience with API performance testing.
- Knowledge of JVM performance monitoring.
- Exposure to performance testing in cloud-native applications.
- Experience working in enterprise-level performance testing projects.
