Role & responsibilities

Must be aware of Inward inspection of Plates, pipes, Tubes, forgings & amp; fittings, fabricated items, machining components & all bought out items.

Responsible for ensuring adherence to QAP in inward, in process & final inspection.

Must be capable of In-Process and final inspection of Static equipment like Pressure Vessels, Columns, Boilers and Heat exchangers and fabricated /machined components,

Preparations of non-conformance documents- NCRs/DCRs, attain meetings &

Preparation of QAP, NDT procedure, Hydro test procedure, Painting procedure, weld plan as per customer requirements

Handling & ensure that inspections are offered as per QAP & customer specification & same is conducted to the satisfaction of TPIA & ensure receipt of release note from TPIA





Preparation of project specific WPS/PQR/WPQ and WOPQ

Maintaining Welder qualification & Welder continuity record.

Awareness of ASME Code like Sec VIII Div1, Div 2 ,Sec IIA,B,C , Sec IX and

IBR Code

Capable of handling third party inspection agencies like LRA, BVIL, TUV, EIL, CEIL and coordination with Clients and their Inspection agencies.

Must have explicit and conscious communication skills with TPIs and Customers.
