- Conduct inspections using calibrated instruments with hands-on expertise.
- Deliver timely inspection reports and decisions.
- Maintain effective vendor coordinaon.

Core Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings (First & Third angle projections).
- Understand and apply Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
- Perform raw material tesng, including lab analysis and Non-Destrucve Tesng (NDT).
- Inspect components per purchase order scope at vendor sites.
- Execute inspecons in heavy machine shops using appropriate tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge of machining operaons:
- Turning, Milling, Shaping, Grinding, Buffing
- Slong, Boring, Jig Boring, Honing, Hobbing, etc.
- Connuously update technical knowledge and skills.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 18001
(Occupational Health & Safety). Decision-Making Authority
- Make inspecon-related decisions in consultaon with immediate superior.

Preferred candidate profile
- Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
- 34 years of experience in heavy/structural fabricaon and machine shop components
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems (preferred)
- Ability to work independently
- Hands-on experience in heavy machining inspecon
- Proficient in assembly inspecon:
- Visual and dimensional checks
- No-load tesng
- Technical cerficate (TC) review
- Scope verificaon against Bill of Materials (BOM)
