About the Role: Ganesh Enterprises is looking for a dynamic, field-oriented Purchases Manager to manage and optimize our sourcing and procurement operations. In this role, you will be heavily involved in on-ground vendor interactions, market scouting, and quality checks. Because this position requires 100% traveling, you must be comfortable managing field operations across local markets and supply hubs on a daily basis.

What You'll Do

- Manage Procurement Operations: Handle day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure a steady, cost-effective supply of FMCG food products.
- Vendor & Market Sourcing: Travel extensively across designated markets to source quality products, negotiate rates, and build robust relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.
- Field Inspection & Quality Control: Conduct on-site evaluations of food products to maintain high-quality standards before final purchase and dispatch.
- Market Trend Analysis: Keep a close eye on market price fluctuations, demand shifts, and product availability to make profitable purchasing decisions.
- Order & Inventory Tracking:



Coordinate closely with the internal warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules from vendors to our Kolkata hub.

Who Should Apply:
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management specifically within the FMCG / Food Products industry.
- Travel Readiness: Highly energetic individual with 100% willingness to travel extensively on a daily basis for vendor meetings and field operations.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong bargaining and commercial acumen to secure the best market prices.
- Local Knowledge:Sound familiarity with Kolkata's major commercial hubs, wholesale food markets, and supplier networks (especially around Burrabazar, Posta, Cotton Street, and MG Road areas).
- Education: Graduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
