: Purchase Executive
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the company's day-to-day procurement and purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating the best commercial terms, and ensuring timely procurement to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities
- Source new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective procurement
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement documentation
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with internal teams to avoid stock shortages or overstocking
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and vendor commitments
- Compare quotations and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, and service
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement reports
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory coordination
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Candidate
- Prior experience in the FMCG, cosmetics, personal care, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
