Roles &
- Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for electrical components to ensure cost effectiveness and alignment with budget requirements.
- Procure materials as per project and site requirements.
- Study BOQs and identify, develop, and evaluate new vendors.
- Prepare comparison sheets, conduct price negotiations, finalize vendors, and negotiate purchase order terms, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure purchase orders comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Verify vendor documents such as Guaranteed Technical Particulars (GTP), drawings, type test reports, and Material Quality Plans after PO release.
- Ensure supplied materials comply with client specifications.
- Coordinate with clients and project managers for Third-Party Inspection, MSETCL inspection, and client inspection activities.
- Communicate daily with clients to plan procurement schedules as per site execution activities.
- Build strong client relationships through timely support,
issue resolution, and procurement coordination.
- Coordinate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
- Assess company requirements for safe and smooth operations and optimize inventory accordingly.
- Prepare and submit monthly purchase budgets.
- Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely vendor payments.
