Role & responsibilities

We are building a high-performing Property Accounting team to support European real estate finance operations. The team will function as the primary accounting and review support group, managing core property accounting activities, improving process efficiency, and delivering accurate financial outputs for leadership review.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end property accounting activities for European real estate portfolios
- Record journal entries, including acquisitions/dispositions and share deals
- Perform straight-line rent calculations and related accounting adjustments
- Conduct General Ledger review and worksheet tie-downs (Blackline)
- Complete bank reconciliations using Yardi and support reconciliation improvements
- Prepare and review monthly variance/flux analysis with focus on key line items
- Support accrual calculations, auto-reversing accruals, and PayScan invoice-based accrual processes
- Assist with quarter-end property and deal setup within Yardi




- Identify process improvement opportunities, reduce manual activities, and enhance automation
- Collaborate with FP&A; and internal stakeholders for timely financial data delivery
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls

Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant / CMA / bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of Property Accounting / Real Estate Accounting experience
- Robust experience with Yardi (mandatory)

- Accruals

- Variance Analysis
- Blackline or similar reconciliation tools
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting concepts, including acquisitions/dispositions

- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience supporting international or European portfolios is highly preferred
