Role Description The Prompt Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing prompts for AI systems to support DVBC’s consulting services, particularly in the MSME domain. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves collaborating with consultants, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to translate business problems into effective AI-driven solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing client requirements, creating prompt templates, refining prompts through iterative experimentation, and documenting prompt libraries for reuse across projects. The role also includes monitoring AI output quality,



identifying edge cases, and ensuring responses are accurate, ethical, and aligned with DVBC’s standards.

The Prompt

Engineer will contribute to internal training, share best practices on prompt design, and continuously explore new AI tools and features to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and logical structuring of information for AI-driven workflows.
- Experience with prompt design and optimization for large language models or similar AI systems, including iterative testing and evaluation.
- Ability to translate business and consulting requirements into clear, context-rich instructions and scenarios for AI tools.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including basic familiarity with metrics to assess AI performance and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, tone, and target audience needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (consulting, HR, finance, marketing, and digital transformation) in an on-site environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, economics, or a related field; a background in consulting or MSME operations is an advantage.
- Curiosity about emerging AI technologies, solid learning orientation, and commitment to ethical and responsible use of AI in business contexts.
