Job Title: Prompt Engineer Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts for AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, a solid understanding of large language models (LLMs), and the ability to translate business requirements into effective AI interactions. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and domain experts to improve AI performance, accuracy, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and refine prompts for generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama).

- Experiment with prompt engineering techniques to improve response quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Evaluate AI outputs, identify failure cases, and iterate on prompt strategies.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and subject matter experts to understand business needs.
- Create prompt libraries, templates, and best practices for internal teams.
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure prompt effectiveness and AI performance.
- Stay up to date with advancements in generative AI, prompt engineering, and LLM capabilities.
- Document prompt designs, testing methodologies, and optimization results.
- Ensure AI outputs align with company policies, ethical standards, and user expectations.

Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.




- Basic understanding of Python, APIs, or scripting is preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques such as zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, and structured prompting.
- Ability to analyze AI responses and improve performance through experimentation.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, or Azure OpenAI.

- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with prompt versioning and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of NLP concepts and machine learning fundamentals.
