Job Summary

Reports to General Manager Projects New Era Cleantech is spearheading a multi-billion-dollar coal-to-chemicals project with a strong emphasis on decarbonization, clean energy, and value-added industrial transformation. This pioneering greenfield initiative represents a nationally significant milestone in India's sustainable industrial development.

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Project Planner to develop and manage the integrated project schedule. This role is critical to ensuring the timely execution of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in project scheduling, risk tracking, stakeholder coordination, and project controls for large, multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the master project schedule, including critical path analysis, key milestones, and phase-wise deliverables.
- Work with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to align planning and execution timelines.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules, flag deviations, and escalate delays or risks to the management in a timely manner.
- Conduct schedule impact assessments, evaluate mitigation strategies, and support recovery planning.
- Participate in all project meetings, record meeting minutes, track action items, and ensure timely closure.




- Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth flow of information and alignment with schedule objectives.
- Prepare regular dashboards, schedule performance reports, and executive summaries for senior management.
- Maintain all relevant planning documentation, logs, and communication records.
- Use modern project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) for schedule development and tracking.

Experience

Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects

Industry Preference

Chemicals, Energy, Infrastructure, or Capital Projects

Key Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in project planning and controls for large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC workflows, interdependencies, and construction sequencing.
- Proficient in project planning tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, and related software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in schedule forecasting and risk analysis.
- Effective communicator with experience in managing multi-stakeholder project environments.
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
