Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Project Planning Engineer with experience in the PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) Steel Structure Manufacturing Industry. The candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, planning, monitoring, coordination, and ensuring timely execution of fabrication and erection activities while maintaining project quality and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
- Plan and monitor fabrication, dispatch, and site erection activities.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, QA/QC, and Site Execution teams.
- Track project progress and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Monitor material availability and coordinate procurement schedules.
- Ensure projects are executed within planned timelines and budgets.
- Conduct project review meetings with internal departments.
- Maintain project documentation, planning records, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with clients regarding project schedules and milestones.
- Support resource planning and manpower allocation.
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Experience in PEB Steel Structure Manufacturing Industry is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
- Hands-on experience with MS Project, Primavera P6 (preferred), and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of fabrication, steel structure manufacturing, and erection processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to prepare project MIS and progress dashboards.
- Understanding of production planning and material planning.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Project Planning within the PEB Steel Structure Manufacturing Industry.
- Robust coordination and project monitoring skills.
Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
