Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Controls Engineer role located in Bengaluru, focused on power utility and EPC projects, with a compensation of up to 20 LPA and a target experience range of 5 to 10 years. The professional in this role will develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, monitor progress, and update project timelines and milestones.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and engineering teams, tracking costs and resources, and preparing regular progress, variance, and forecast reports.



The role involves implementing cost control and risk mitigation measures, supporting change management, and ensuring alignment of project plans with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The Project Controls

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of project control processes and tools and provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong planning & scheduling skills, including hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and project timeline management.
- Expertise in project control and cost control, with the ability to track budgets, monitor performance, and support corrective actions.
- Proficiency in cost management and analytical skills to interpret project data, conduct variance analysis, and support forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, or related field); a postgraduate qualification in project management is an advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience in project controls within power utilities, EPC, or large infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with EPC contract structures, project risk management, and standard project management methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams on-site in Bengaluru.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting tools; exposure to other project management software is beneficial.
