About the role: We are seeking a Fellowship Manager who will lead the implementation of the Fellowship Program across multiple districts.
The Fellowship
Manager will be responsible for managing
5-6 Program Leaders and overseeing approximately 60 Fellows working across different locations. The role requires strong leadership,
program management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities to ensure effective program implementation, fellow development, and strong collaboration with government schools and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Program
Implementation and
Quality Assurance Lead the implementation and quality of the
Fellowship Program across multiple districts. Supervise and mentor
Program Leaders responsible for managing Fellows on the ground.
Oversee the work of Fellows working in government school communities. Ensure effective planning, execution, and monitoring of program activities across learning centers.
- Fellow
Recruitment, Training, and Development Lead the recruitment and selection process of fellows through partnerships with local institutions, colleges, and communities. Design and manage training programs, capacity-building workshops, and exposure visits for fellows. Monitor fellow performance through structured feedback,
mentoring, and growth mapping. 3.
Field
Monitoring and Community
Engagement Conduct regular field visits to learning centers and partner schools. Review weekly planning and classroom implementation by fellows. Support fellows in organizing Parent
Teacher Meetings (PTM), student events, and community engagement initiatives. 4.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain robust relationships with:
Government school teachers and headmasters.
Block and district education officials (BEO/DEO). Parents and community stakeholders. Represent the organization in district/state-level meetings and program review discussions. 5.
Program Planning and Reporting Track program progress and prepare periodic program reports and updates. Monitor program risks and identify operational challenges. Contribute to the development of program proposals, concept notes, and reports. Work with internal teams (finance, communications, partnerships) to support program growth and sustainability.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship
Conduct regular performance reviews and mentorship sessions with
Program Leaders. Support the professional development of team members through structured capacity building. Promote accountability, innovation, and strong communication within the team.
Qualifications and Experience Education: Bachelor's or
Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies,
or related fields.
Experience: 4-7 years of experience in the education or development sector, preferably in program implementation or fellowship-based models. Team Management:
Experience managing large field teams and multi-location programs is preferred.
Required Skills Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. Program planning, monitoring, and reporting capabilities. Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage complex field operations. High adaptability and willingness to travel frequently. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in resource-constrained environments.
