About The Role The Vendor Program Manager at Tech Data is a strategic role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive vendor marketing plans that align with company objectives and market trends. The Vendor Program

Manager will serve as a key liaison between the company and its vendors, providing marketing direction, managing budgets, and analyzing campaign performance to optimize results. Additionally, the role involves coaching and leading marketing teams, coordinating project activities, and maintaining a strong understanding of industry channels and digital marketing strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in product management, channel marketing, or B2C marketing, demonstrating a deep understanding of marketing strategies and industry trends. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related fields is required.

Experience managing marketing budgets within a channel marketing environment is essential, with prior experience as a channel marketing manager being highly advantageous.



Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of distribution channels relevant to the industry and possess strong project management skills to handle multifaceted initiatives. Leadership experience, including managing small teams and influencing senior stakeholders, is crucial.

Proficiency in digital marketing, online communication channels, and new media is expected. The role also requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills are necessary to effectively work across different teams and external partners.

Responsibilities The Vendor Program Manager will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including assisting vendors in creating product marketing strategies through the company, working closely with client executives to develop account-based marketing plans, and managing the marketing relationship with vendors. This includes maintaining marketing plans, managing cooperative advertising funds (MDF), and representing the company in marketing-related business meetings. The role involves coaching marketing teams, providing marketing direction to vendors, and developing three-month rolling marketing plans that incorporate vendor objectives, strategies, and tactics.

The manager will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across print, digital, direct mail, training programs, telemarketing, and sales awareness initiatives. Monitoring and driving revenue, expenses, and profit margins for assigned vendors and programs is essential. The role also entails analyzing sales data and trends, coordinating project materials,



and preparing monthly and quarterly reports on promotional activities and ROI.

The manager will work closely with product managers to understand sales performance, develop tracking tools for marketing activities, and ensure alignment with company profitability goals.
