Job Title Production Supervisor - Furniture Metal Fabrication Location Bhiwandi Department Production Manufacturing Reports To Production Manager Operations Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor with a strong background in furniture manufacturing and metal fabrication The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production activities ensuring safety quality efficiency and timely delivery of products You will lead a team of skilled workers and collaborate with engineering quality and logistics departments to meet production targets Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of production staff in furniture assembly welding cutting finishing and packaging Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards and minimising downtime Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company policies Maintain accurate production records reports and documentation Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve production issues and support new product launches Optimise workflow tools and processes for improved efficiency and cost reduction Train and develop team members on machinery fabrication techniques and quality standards Ensure proper maintenance and operation of production equipment including welding machines CNC cutters bending machines powder coating lines etc Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and customer requirements Lead daily shift meetings and provide clear instructions to production teams Handle disciplinary actions scheduling and performance evaluations of team members Requirements Proven experience 3 years as a Production Supervisor or similar role in furniture manufacturing and or metal fabrication Strong technical knowledge of furniture materials wood metal upholstery and metalworking processes welding bending cutting finishing Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and BOMs Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of lean manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with ERP MRP systems and production reporting tools Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production workplace Flexible to work different shifts if required Education Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Technology Industrial Engineering or a related field Relevant technical certifications e g welding CNC operation are a plus Preferred Qualities Experience with both custom and volume furniture production Background in powder coating CNC machines or robotic welding is an advantage Bilingual abilities depending on workforce language needs Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Application Question s Are you willing to travel till bhiwandi location Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Work Location In person
