Role & responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for all production activities.

- Provide Supervisory cover across Melting, Moulding, Pouring and Coreshop to meet the production target based on production schedule.

- Responsible for daily material / manpower & production planning.

- Meet the performance targets set in BSC.

- Identifies resources to execute production as per plan.

- Coordinate with Plant Head to plan departmental work flow in order to achieve long term goals established by top management.

- Review and analyse production shortfalls and operating concerns for remediation and implementation of appropriate corrective action.

- Identification of training needs to self & the employees.

- Responsible for emphasize on multiskilling development of the employees.

- Produces detailed Risk Assessments and Protected Systems of Work procedures

- Maintaining 5S, Safety and Environment of the shop and surrounding.

- Evaluating the performance of people working under team.

- Responsible for timely/correct data entry in SAP.
