Production Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager to lead and oversee the complete production process for beaded, embroidered, and fully stitched garments.
The Production Manager will be responsible for managing production from the initial planning through embroidery, stitching, finishing, quality control, and final delivery. This individual will serve as the head of production and will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are properly organized, prioritized, delegated, monitored, and completed according to the required quality standards and deadlines.
The ideal candidate must be an effective leader who can manage internal teams, coordinate with outside vendors, resolve production challenges, and maintain clear communication throughout every stage of production.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Management
- Lead and manage the complete production process for beaded, embroidered, and fully stitched garments.
- Create and maintain production plans, schedules, and delivery timelines for all active orders.
- Organize and prioritize orders based on delivery dates, production requirements, material availability, and level of complexity.
- Ensure that each order moves efficiently through artwork, material sourcing, cutting, embroidery, beading, stitching, finishing, and quality-control stages.
- Monitor daily production progress and identify delays or potential problems before they affect delivery dates.
- Maintain accurate production records, order updates, vendor information, and status reports.
Team Leadership and Task Delegation
- Serve as the head of the production department and provide clear direction to all production teams.
- Assign and delegate tasks to the appropriate departments, supervisors, artisans, and workers.
- Clearly communicate priorities, deadlines, technical requirements, and quality expectations to each team.
- Ensure workloads are distributed properly and that each employee understands their responsibilities.
- Follow up regularly on delegated tasks and hold team members accountable for completing work correctly and on time.
- Resolve internal production conflicts and make timely decisions when challenges arise.
Vendor Management and Material Sourcing
- Communicate regularly with outside vendors regarding materials, services, production progress, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Follow up continuously with vendors to ensure that materials and outsourced work are delivered on schedule.
- Build and maintain reliable relationships with fabric suppliers, embroidery vendors, dyeing units, trim suppliers, stitching vendors, and other production partners.
- Maintain organized records of vendor contacts, quotations, purchase requirements, material orders, and delivery dates.
- Inspect incoming materials and outsourced work to confirm that they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Communication and Reporting
- Maintain constant communication with vendors, department supervisors, artisans, and senior management.
- Provide regular and accurate updates regarding production status, completed work, delays, material requirements, and potential risks.
- Immediately communicate any issue that may affect quality, cost, or delivery.
- Conduct regular production meetings to review priorities, deadlines, and departmental responsibilities.
- Prepare daily or weekly production reports showing the status of each active order.
- Communicate professionally in both written and spoken English with management, clients, vendors, and team members when required.
- Use email, spreadsheets, production-management systems, and other computer tools to maintain records and communicate updates.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- English Speaking and writing advanced proficiency required
- Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital production-tracking systems.
- Strong leadership, management, and team-supervision skills.
- Excellent ability to delegate tasks, communicate responsibilities, and follow up on assigned work.
- Strong production-planning, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong vendor-management, negotiation, and material-sourcing capabilities.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to take responsibility for production outcomes.
- Ability to prepare and maintain production schedules, reports, material records, and order-status updates.
- Willingness to remain closely involved with factory operations and follow up consistently until work is completed.
Key Performance Expectations The Production Manager will be evaluated based on:
