Job Purpose The CCTV Production Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of CCTV camera manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with optimal quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and people capability.

Key Responsibilities Production & Operations - Plan, organize, and control CCTV production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

- Ensure smooth assembly of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVRs, and related accessories as per defined SOPs.
- Balance manpower, machines, and materials to achieve optimal throughput.
- Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, yield, and downtime.

Quality

Management - Ensure compliance with product quality standards, testing protocols, and customer requirements.

- Drive reduction in defects, rework, and field failures through root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Coordinate with Quality teams for audits, certifications, and process validations. Cost & Productivity Improvement - Drive cost reduction initiatives related to material usage, labor efficiency, and process optimization.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve line balancing, cycle time, and first-pass yield.

People

Management - Lead, motivate, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor workforce.

- Conduct training on SOPs, quality awareness, safety, and productivity improvement.
- Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and performance reviews.

Supply





Chain & Coordination - Coordinate with PPC, Supply Chain, and Stores to ensure material availability.

- Work closely with R&D; and Engineering for current product introduction (NPI) and process changes.
- Support vendor development for outsourced or critical components. Safety & Compliance - Ensure adherence to EHS standards and statutory compliance on the shop floor.
- Promote a safe, disciplined, and clean working environment. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
- Track KPIs and present performance reviews to management.
- Ensure documentation of SOPs, work instructions, and process controls.

Key Skills & Competencies - Strong knowledge of CCTV camera manufacturing, electronics assembly, and testing processes

- Expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, and process improvement
- Working knowledge of Electronic Product Assembly, Lean, 5S, and Operation Excellence.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Good understanding of ERP/MRP/SAP systems
- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination - Educational Qualifications
- B.E. / B. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical - Experience
- 12–15 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Minimum 3–5 years in a HOD role managing CCTV Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Production achievement vs plan
- First-pass yield and defect rate
- Cost reduction and productivity improvement
- On-time delivery (OTD)
- Safety and compliance metrics
