Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Production

Engineer will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations for cap and closure production, ensuring processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring production lines, optimizing workflows, coordinating with planning and maintenance teams, and troubleshooting technical or process issues. The role involves implementing and improving production procedures, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining documentation related to production, quality,



and compliance.

The Production

Engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with quality control, logistics, and management to meet delivery timelines and performance targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, with experience in manufacturing processes and equipment relevant to plastics or medical-grade components.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, identify root causes, and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills, including resource allocation, scheduling, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with knowledge of ISO standards, GMP practices, and in-process and final inspection methods.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for explicit reporting, documentation, and collaboration across production, quality, and management teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field are preferred.
- Experience in pharma, medical devices, or precision component manufacturing, and familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements, will be beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to work on the shop floor, and readiness to support shift-based operations as needed are advantageous.
