Job Title Production Engineer - BOQ BOM Department Production Industry Interior Design Modular Furniture Manufacturing Job Summary The Production Engineer BOQ BOM is responsible for preparing accurate Bill of Quantities BOQ and Bill of Materials BOM based on drawings client specifications and production requirements The role ensures smooth coordination between design production and procurement teams to achieve cost-effective and error-free project execution Key Responsibilities 1 BOQ BOM Preparation Prepare complete BOQ BOM cutting lists hardware lists and material consumption sheets Review GFC technical drawings and specifications to extract accurate material requirements Identify missing details and coordinate with design architects for clarifications Ensure BOQ BOM is aligned with project budget and technical standards 2 Production Planning Coordination Support production planning based on BOQ BOM and project timelines Coordinate with factory teams for material allocation machining fabrication and assembly Work closely with the project team to understand production constraints and schedule 3 Material Selection Optimization Select appropriate materials such as plywood laminates veneers hardware fittings metals etc Optimize material usage to reduce wastage and improve cost efficiency Prepare CNC-ready data cutting sheets when required 4 Costing Estimation Support Assist costing team in evaluating material quantity and consumption Provide technical inputs for pricing vendor selection and procurement planning 5 Quality Compliance Ensure BOQ BOM complies with industry standards and organizational guidelines Support QC team with material specifications and production-related checks 6 Documentation Reporting Maintain BOQ BOM revisions version control and change logs Prepare production documentation material requests and consumption reports Track project progress and material status Required Skills Qualifications Diploma B Tech in Mechanical Engineering Production or related field 2-5 years of experience in interior fit-out modular furniture fabrication industry Strong knowledge of materials plywood laminates hardware ACP MDF metals etc Positive understanding of assembly methods and manufacturing processes Proficiency in AutoCAD Excel and production planning tools Strong analytical coordination and documentation skills Preferred Skills Experience with CNC files nesting software or ERP systems Understanding of GFC drawings elevations sections and joinery details Ability to work under tight timelines and handle multiple projects Key Attributes Detail-oriented and strong in calculations Good communication and interdepartmental coordination abilities Problem-solving and process improvement mindset Candidates Can Share Resume on WhatsApp - (phone hidden) Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
