- 5-8 years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 3 years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Analyst in an Agile environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in US Healthcare
- Experience working with cross-functional Agile development teams
- Experience managing product backlogs and delivering enterprise software products
About the Role We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the execution and delivery of our In-Home Health Assessment (IHA) Platform.
The IHA platform supports the complete operational lifecycle including:
- Member outreach
- Appointment scheduling
- Nurse workflows
- Clinical assessments
- Coding
- Quality Measures
- Risk Adjustment
- Care Management
- Digital Engagement
- Enterprise Administration
The Product Owner will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, engineering, QA, UX, and Product Management to translate business objectives into well-defined product requirements, prioritize development work, and ensure successful delivery of business value.
Responsibilities:
Product Backlog Management
- Own and maintain the product backlog.
- Prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and organizational priorities.
- Ensure backlog items are clearly defined, refined, and ready for development.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product objectives.
Requirements & Product Definition
- Conduct requirement workshops with business and operational teams.
- Translate business needs into Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Define business rules, workflows, process diagrams,
and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with UX designers to create intuitive user experiences.
- Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
Agile Delivery
- Own Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and feature prioritization.
- Support daily Scrum activities by clarifying requirements and resolving questions.
- Participate in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage dependencies, scope changes, and release planning.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between Business, Operations, Engineering, and Product Management.
- Facilitate discussions to resolve competing priorities and align stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and upcoming releases.
- Ensure business expectations are aligned with product delivery timelines.
Quality & Release Management
- Review completed features to ensure they meet business expectations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation.
- Prioritize production defects and enhancement requests.
- Monitor feature adoption and gather feedback for future improvements.
Business Initiatives Support delivery across strategic IHA initiatives including:
- Quality Only Visits (QOV)
- Digital Engagement
- Omnichannel Communication
