Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative office furniture products, improving existing designs, preparing technical drawings, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring products meet quality, functionality, and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design innovative office furniture and workspace solutions.
- Develop new product concepts based on market trends and customer requirements.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Create product specifications, technical drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams during product development.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing.
- Improve existing products based on customer feedback and market research.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Support prototype development and testing.




- Collaborate with the sales team for customized furniture solutions.
- Maintain design documentation and revision records.
- Ensure products comply with quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of furniture design principles.
- Understanding of ergonomics and workspace planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Experience with SolidWorks, SketchUp, Fusion 360, or similar 3D software.
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes.
- Material knowledge (Wood, MDF, Plywood, Metal, Laminate, Fabric, etc.).
- Good visualization and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:

- Industrial Design

- Product Design

- Furniture Design

- Mechanical Engineering

- Interior Design

- Architecture
- Or a related field.

Experience

- 1–4 years of experience in Product Design or Furniture Design.
- Freshers with an exceptional design portfolio may also apply.

Software Skills

- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks / SketchUp / Fusion 360
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (Preferred)
