Makerspace Masters

Noida

ABOUT THE ROLE Makerspace Masters is looking for a driven and intellectually versatile Product Manager to champion our Makerspace Masters curriculum across schools, colleges, and academic institutions. This is a hybrid role that blends product ownership, academic consultancy, and business development — designed for someone who can walk into a college HOD's office and engage as a credible peer, then switch gears to close a curriculum partnership deal.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and an MBA — someone who can decode complex STEM/makerspace concepts and simultaneously structure a business case. You will be the primary face of Synergy Global in academic settings, owning the entire lifecycle from curriculum demonstration to institutional sign-off.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Academic Business Development

- Identify and target schools, engineering colleges, polytechnics, and vocational institutions as prospective partners for the Makerspace Masters program.
- Build and maintain relationships with Heads of Department (HODs), Principals, Deans, Academic Directors, and faculty experts.
- Drive end-to-end business development cycles — from first outreach and discovery meetings through to MOU/agreement closure.
- Develop institution-specific proposals aligning Makerspace Masters offerings with their curriculum gaps and accreditation goals (NBA, NAAC, NEP 2020 compliance, etc.).

Curriculum

Demonstration & Academic Engagements

- Conduct live demonstrations of the Makerspace Masters curriculum — including hands-on lab kits, project-based learning modules, IoT/robotics/electronics content — to academic decision-makers and faculty panels.
- Present curriculum value propositions at an academic level, engaging confidently with subject matter experts on pedagogy, learning outcomes, and technical depth.
- Organize and lead faculty development workshops, student trial sessions, and academic seminars to showcase program impact.
- Adapt demos and presentations to the specific level of the audience — school science teacher vs.

B.Tech HOD vs. university curriculum committee.

Product

Ownership & Feedback Loop

- Act as the voice of the academic customer — gather structured feedback from institutions and feed insights back into curriculum design and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the internal product and content team to customise curriculum modules for specific institution requirements (skill tracks, semester mapping, lab integration).
- Monitor deployment quality at partner institutions and ensure curriculum is delivered as designed.
- Track key metrics: number of institutions onboarded, curriculum adoption rates, student engagement data, and renewal rates.

Stakeholder

Management & Representation

- Represent Synergy Global at academic conferences, EdTech expos, and institutional events.
- Liaise with government education bodies, skill development councils (e.g., NSDC), and AICTE/UGC linked bodies where relevant.
- Prepare and present MIS reports, pipeline updates, and partnership status reports to senior leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in any discipline — Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. This is non-negotiable.
- MBA from a recognized B-School (full-time preferred) with specialisation in Marketing, Strategy, or General Management.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in EdTech, academic partnerships, curriculum sales, or a product-facing role with institutional clients.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with academic stakeholders — HODs, faculty, or college administration — in a professional capacity.
- Strong understanding of STEM education,

maker culture, project-based learning, or similar technical curriculum frameworks. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Technical-Commercial Duality: You can explain a PLC programming module to an Electronics HOD and pitch an ROI story to a college management committee — often on the same day.
- Confident Presenter: You are comfortable doing live, hands-on demonstrations of lab equipment and curriculum in front of expert panels without a safety net.
- Academic Credibility: You understand how educational institutions think — semester structures, accreditation pressures, faculty resistance — and know how to navigate them.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: You thrive in greenfield markets, take ownership of outcomes, and are comfortable building pipelines from scratch in new geographies.
- Structured Communicator: You write crisp proposals, present clean decks, and follow up with discipline. You make it easy for institutions to say yes.
- Travel-Ready: This role requires regular travel to academic institutions across India. Pan-India mobility is essential. POSITIVE TO HAVE
- Prior exposure to makerspaces, FabLabs, STEM labs, or hands-on innovation centres in academic settings.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020, AICTE model curriculum, or outcome-based education (OBE) frameworks.
- Experience with CRM tools for pipeline management (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
- Regional language proficiency for local institutional outreach (Hindi + one regional language preferred). WHAT WE OFFER
- A mission-driven role at the intersection of engineering, education, and entrepreneurship.
- Opportunity to shape how Indian academic institutions integrate hands-on, maker-centred learning.
- Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives tied to partnership milestones.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and a fast-paced, high-ownership work culture.
- Learning and development budget, product training, and access to global makerspace trends.
