Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of automotive plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in injection-moulded plastic components and automotive product development, with the ability to translate customer needs into competitive, manufacturable, and commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify customer needs and market opportunities through research, customer interactions, and competitive analysis.

- Define product strategy, roadmap, and product requirements aligned with business and customer goals.

- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and development to launch and continuous improvement.

- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration, resource planning, and timely project execution.

- Ensure products meet quality, cost, manufacturability, regulatory, and customer requirements while driving product validation activities (DFMEA, DFM, DFA).

- Mentor, guide, and manage the product development team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and high performance.





- Monitor product performance, track KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and support customer engagements, RFQs, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product design, Automotive Design, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of automotive design principles, including aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality.

- Proficiency in 3D modelling software [Unigraphics NX is a must.

- Strong understanding of plastic materials, mould design, injection mould manufacturing process and injection moulding processes.

- Experience with DFMEA, DFM, and DFA methodologies.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Passion for automotive design and innovation.

Experience:

- 10+ years of qualified experience in automotive plastic product design.

- Minimum 10+ years working experience in UG NX
