Procurement Manager

Location: Bhandup, Mumbai

Experience: 8–10 Years

Qualification: Graduate (MBA in Supply Chain/Materials Management preferred)

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the company's procurement activities and ensure timely sourcing of quality materials at competitive prices. The candidate should have strong experience in vendor management, negotiations, and procurement planning within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and services.
- Manage the complete purchase cycle from enquiry to purchase order and delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain reliable vendor relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Finance, and Logistics departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Track inventory levels and plan procurement based on production requirements.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchase MIS, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous process improvements.
- Monitor market trends and identify alternative sourcing opportunities.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor development skills.
- Experience with ERP/SAP and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive communication and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement projects simultaneously.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain/Materials Management (Preferred)

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
