Key Responsibilities

- Procure mechanical equipment, spare parts, and consumables for manufacturing operations.
- Handle sourcing of: Pumps, Compressors, Gearboxes, Motors, Blowers,Valves, Bearings,Pipes & Fittings
- Float RFQs/RFPs and obtain competitive quotations.
- Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of vendor offers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, and contractual conditions.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order placement.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, QA/QC, and Stores for technical clarifications.
- Develop and maintain an approved vendor database.

- Ensure timely procurement to avoid production downtime.
- Track order status and expedite deliveries.

Job Summary The Procurement Executive – Structural & Sheet Metal is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring structural steel, sheet metal components, fabricated assemblies, and related materials. The role focuses on ensuring timely procurement, cost optimization, quality compliance, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support manufacturing and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure structural steel, sheet metal components, fabricated parts, and related raw materials.

Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Float RFQs, analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution until final delivery.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3–8 years of procurement experience in structural steel, sheet metal fabrication, or manufacturing industries.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of structural steel sections, sheet metal fabrication processes, laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and surface finishing.

Experience in vendor development and supplier management.

Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
