Role & responsibilities The Process Maintenance Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance activities for Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing equipment and facilities. The role ensures equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and uninterrupted production through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and team leadership. The position works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Validation, and EHS teams to maintain GMP-compliant operations.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8-12 years of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role within an OSD facility.

- Hands-on experience with compression, granulation, coating, blister packing, and other OSD manufacturing equipment.

- Proven experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements including cGMP, US FDA, EU GMP, and data integrity standards.

- Experience managing maintenance teams, contractors, shutdown activities, and CAPEX/OPEX maintenance budgets.
