Principal AI Engineer

Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid)

Magnasoft is building the next generation of AI-powered geospatial products, and we're looking for a senior technical leader to help scale our AI/ML engineering organization.

This is a hands-on Principal Engineer rolenot a pure management position. We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in architecture, design, and coding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and build production-grade machine learning systems.
- Lead technical direction while staying close to the code.
- Scale Computer Vision, OCR, and Spatial AI platforms.
- Design and implement continuous learning and model retraining pipelines.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.
- Build and deploy AI solutions using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and PyTorch.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10+ years of experience building and shipping production AI/ML systems.
- Experience as a Principal Engineer, Lead Engineer, Staff Engineer, or ML Architect.




- Strong hands-on coding skills in Python.
- Expertise in Computer Vision, OCR, Document AI, or Spatial AI solutions.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and GPU-based training and inference infrastructure.
- Proven track record of delivering production AI/ML systems at scale.

Added Advantage:

- Experience with Geospatial/GIS technologies.
- Exposure to human-in-the-loop systems.
- Knowledge of agentic AI systems and autonomous workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices.
