Role Overview

SpazioLiv is looking for a highly experienced Principal Designer – Sales to lead premium client consultations, drive high-value design sales, and mentor the design sales team. This role combines creative excellence with commercial acumen, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while achieving revenue and business targets.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of closing premium residential interior projects and leading high-performing design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

- Drive high-value residential interior project closures.
- Own monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Conduct premium client consultations and convert qualified leads into successful projects.
- Maximize conversion rates, average ticket size, and profitability.

Design Consultation

- Understand clients' lifestyle, requirements, and budget.
- Develop premium design concepts, layouts, and space planning solutions.
- Present design proposals, materials, finishes, and commercial estimates with confidence.
- Deliver a luxury customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor Sales Designers and Senior Interior Designers.
- Conduct design reviews, sales coaching, and conversion training.
- Improve design presentation standards and sales performance across the team.
- Support hiring and development of design talent.

Customer Relationship Management

- Build strong relationships with premium clients.
- Handle complex negotiations and design discussions.
- Resolve client concerns while maintaining satisfaction and project profitability.





Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, CRM, and Project teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
- Ensure all sales commitments are technically feasible and aligned with execution capabilities.
- Support project delivery by maintaining strong communication across departments.

Performance & Reporting
- Monitor sales pipeline, CRM updates, conversion ratios, and collections.
- Prepare business performance reports and sales forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer experience.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- *3-4 years of experience** in residential interior design and sales.
- Proven experience in closing premium interior projects and managing high-value clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion, and BOQ preparation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Robust commercial understanding with the ability to balance design creativity and business objectives.
