About DCS AI Technologies

DCS AI Technologies builds advanced AI, cryptographic trust infrastructure, verifiable autonomous systems and space-intelligence platforms.

Our R-Series technology provides verifiable digital receipts, audit lineage, zero-knowledge verification, cryptographic provenance and post-quantum-ready trust infrastructure for AI agents, enterprise systems, government platforms and mission-critical applications.

We are hiring a senior, hands-on cryptography and protocol-security professional to lead the security architecture, implementation assurance and independent audit readiness of the R-Series.

Role overview The Principal Cryptography & Protocol Security Lead will own cryptographic architecture and protocol-security assurance across:

- R+2: Verifiable receipts and signed execution evidence
- R+3: Audit lineage, provenance and verification exports
- R+4: Zero-knowledge verification using Groth16/BN254
- Future R-Series protocols
- Post-quantum and hybrid cryptographic migration
- Blockchain anchoring and smart-contract verification
- Key management, signing, rotation and recovery

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. It is not a general GRC, ISO compliance or penetration-testing position.

Key responsibilities

- Lead cryptographic architecture and protocol-security assurance for R+2, R+3, R+4 and future R-Series systems.
- Review digital-signature workflows, receipt generation, proof verification, lineage integrity and replay protection.
- Review Groth16/BN254 zero-knowledge circuits, constraints, prover/verifier logic and proof-binding assumptions.
- Identify under-constrained circuits, unsafe assumptions and implementation weaknesses.
- Own the post-quantum migration and crypto-agility roadmap.
- Design and review hybrid classical and post-quantum cryptographic modes.
- Maintain cryptographic inventory, algorithm identifiers, protocol versions and backward-verification rules.
- Ensure historical receipts and audit records remain verifiable after algorithm, key-format or protocol upgrades.
- Review PKI, HSM, secrets management, key generation, storage, rotation, revocation and compromise-recovery processes.
- Review blockchain anchoring, smart contracts and on-chain verification logic.

- Develop protocol threat models and security requirements.
- Review source code and cryptographic-library integrations.
- Establish security release gates for critical cryptographic components.
- Coordinate technical preparation for independent security assessments, including NCC Group and a future Trail of Bits specialist review.
- Manage audit evidence, technical responses, remediation and retesting.
- Verify that deployed code matches the independently reviewed version.
- Support security documentation for enterprise, government, aerospace and defence customers.
- Mentor cryptography, ZK, blockchain and security engineers.

Mandatory technical skills

- Solid experience in applied cryptography and protocol security.
- Digital signatures, hashing, authenticated data structures and cryptographic commitments.
- Public-key infrastructure, certificate management and key lifecycle security.
- Zero-knowledge proofs and circuit-security concepts.
- Groth16 or comparable ZK proof systems.
- Understanding of elliptic-curve cryptography and pairing-friendly curves.
- Post-quantum cryptography and crypto-agility.
- Threat modelling and secure protocol design.
- Secure key generation, storage, rotation and recovery.
- Strong programming ability in at least two of:

- Rust
- Go

- C/C++

- TypeScript

- Solidity
- Experience reviewing security-critical source code.
- Experience preparing systems for external security assessments or resolving audit findings.

Required post-quantum knowledge The candidate should understand or have implementation experience with:

- ML-KEM
- ML-DSA
- SLH-DSA
- Hybrid classical and post-quantum architectures
- Post-quantum certificate and signature migration
- Algorithm versioning and crypto-agility
- Key-size, signature-size, latency and performance trade-offs
- Side-channel and implementation-security risks
- Post-quantum integration with PKI, HSMs and distributed systems

Preferred experience
- Formal verification or protocol-verification tools
- Smart-contract and blockchain security
- ZK circuit auditing
- liboqs or equivalent post-quantum libraries
- OpenSSL, BoringSSL or other cryptographic-library integrations
- HSMs, KMS systems and hardware-backed signing
- Security research or published cryptographic work
- Open-source cryptography contributions
- Independent security-audit experience
- Aerospace, government,

defence or mission-critical systems
- Secure multi-party computation, threshold cryptography or federated protocols

Educational qualifications

Preferred qualifications include

- B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics or a related discipline
- M.Tech/M.E., MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cybersecurity or Cryptography
- PhD in Cryptography, Computer Security or a related field is valuable but not compulsory

Equivalent practical expertise and strong cryptographic implementation experience will also be considered.

Technical interview evaluation

Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to discuss:

- The difference between ML-KEM and ML-DSA
- Migration from classical digital signatures to a hybrid post-quantum system
- Designing crypto-agility without breaking backward verification
- Maintaining receipt and audit-proof verification across algorithm and protocol versions
- Risks caused by under-constrained zero-knowledge circuits
- Proof-binding and verifier-security assumptions
- Key compromise, rotation and recovery
- Preparing a cryptographic platform for independent audits by NCC Group and Trail of Bits

A practical technical assignment may be included during the selection process. What this role is not

This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to:

- ISO 27001 or GRC documentation
- SOC operations
- General penetration testing
- Network security
- Vulnerability scanning
- Generic blockchain development
- Cybersecurity policy management without cryptographic implementation experience

Reporting The role reports directly to the Founder/CEO and works closely with:

- R-Series engineering teams
- Zero-knowledge engineers
- Blockchain and smart-contract engineers
- Cloud and infrastructure-security teams
- External security auditors
- COSRYX and government-programme teams

Authority The selected candidate will have authority to recommend blocking a release when:

- Critical cryptographic findings remain unresolved
- ZK constraints or verifier assumptions are insufficiently tested
- Key-management controls are incomplete
- Deployed code differs from audited code
- Cryptographic algorithm or protocol changes lack review
- Required security evidence is incomplete

Why join DCS AI Technologies

- Work on original cryptographic trust infrastructure
- Lead R-Series security and post-quantum evolution
- Work directly with the founder and core engineering teams
- Coordinate independent assessments by globally recognised security firms
- Build technology intended for enterprise, government, aerospace and mission-critical systems
- Performance incentives and ESOP participation
