The Principal is the senior-most leader on campus and the face of Banyan Tree Schools in Jaipur. Reporting directly to the Management Committee of the school, this individual is responsible for the academic vision, operational excellence, community engagement, and overall reputation of th e campus.

This is a role for a leader who is equally at home in the boardroom and the classroom — someone who understands that excellent schools are built on great culture, and that culture begins a t the top.

─── ───KEY RESPO NSIBILITIES─── ───

Academi c Leadership

- Set and sustain high academic standards across all grades and subjects
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning
- Conduct formal classroom observations of every teacher a minimum of twice per academic year, with structured written feedback a nd follow-up
- Work in close coordination with the Head of Teaching & Learning to ensure curriculum delivery, assessment quality, and staff development

Admissions &a; mp;

Enrolment

- Provide strategic oversight of the admiss ions function
- Own and drive annual enrolment targets f or the campus
- Actively participate in parent engagement, campus visits,



and community outreach to strengthen the scho ol's pipeline

External Liaison & Representation

- Serve as the primary representative of the school in all extern al engagements
- Build and maintain productive relationships with CBSE, the district education office, and relevant civic and gov ernment bodies
- Protect and enhance the school's reputation in the w ider community

Governance & Pa rent Engagement

- Manage the School Management Committee (SMC) in full compliance with statuto ry requirements
- Lead the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and foster a culture of open, constructive pa rent engagement
- Ensure all governance obligations are met wi thout exception

Staff Leadersh ip & Culture

- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of educators an d administrators
- Build a campus culture defined by accountability, collaboration, and pride in the institution
- Address performance and conduct matters with fairness and decisiveness

Operations & Compliance

- Ensure the campus meets all CBSE affiliation requirements and reg ulatory standards
- Maintain infrastructure, safety, and operational systems to the highest standard
- Submit monthly performance reports to the President covering academics, admissions, staf f, and operations

─── ───WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR─── ─── - Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in school leadership, with at least 5 ye ars as a Principal.

- Proven track record of academic improvement and i nstitutional growth
- Deep familiarity with the CBSE framework and its regu latory requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Education or a relevant discipli ne;

B.Ed. mandatory

- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and communit y engagement skills
- A leader of high integrity who leads by example and builds trust at every level of the organisation
- A genuine and abiding belief in the transformative power o f quality education
