We partner with leading surgical teams and hospitals to elevate the standard of pre- and post-operative nursing through precision, empathy, and clinical excellence—ensuring seamless transitions from admission to discharge for complex surgical cases. Role & Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments including patient history, allergies, risk factors, and informed consent documentation.
- Prepare patients for surgery by verifying surgical site markings, ensuring NPO status, administering pre-op medications, and coordinating with anesthesia and surgical teams.
- Monitor and manage post-operative recovery including vital signs, pain control, drainage systems, wound assessments, and early mobilization support.
- Identify and escalate clinical complications such as bleeding, respiratory distress, or hemodynamic instability to surgeons and intensivists.
- Provide patient and family education on post-surgery care, wound management, medication schedules, and warning signs requiring urgent attention.




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care, optimize discharge planning, and reduce readmission rates.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

- BNYS or B.Sc Nursing with valid State Nursing Council registration
- Active ACLS certification
- Proficiency in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) protocols
- Experience with surgical patient monitoring tools (e.g., ECG, SpO2, NIBP, capnography)
- Competency in handling post-op complications including nausea, hypotension, and wound dehiscence
- Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) using systems such as Cerner or Meditech

Preferred

- Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR or similar)
- Experience in robotic or minimally invasive surgery recovery protocols
- Fluency in regional healthcare terminology and patient communication in local Indian languages
