- BE/ME in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience (candidates with up to 10 years of experience may also be considered) in powertrain systems (Transmission, Air Intake, Fuel, and Cooling Systems) and vehicle-level propulsion integration.

- Strong exposure to manufacturing processes: Casting, Machining, Plastic Molding, and Sheet Metal design.

- Proven experience in vehicle packaging and interface management across chassis, body, and electrical subsystems for propulsion components (engine, transmission, e-drive, battery, inverter, cooling systems).

- Working knowledge of thermal management and NVH considerations as they relate to cooling, exhaust, and airflow routing — with ability to collaborate cross-functionally with CAE and thermal teams.





- Proficient in CAD software (typically CATIA V5/3DExperience) and Teamcenter PLM for Ford release processes; robust hands-on modeling capability across Air Intake, Fuel, and Cooling system commodities.

- Deep understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T; standards.

- Experience with DMU (Digital Mock-Up) studies, clearance/interference checks, and static/dynamic simulation tools to validate design rule compliance.

- Must have hands-on experience in CATIA V5/3DExperience.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional, and supplier teams.
