About The Role As a Senior Engineer within GE Vernova's Advanced Research division, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovations that support the company's electrification and renewable energy initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to lead research and development programs that explore disruptive electrical and grid technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and academic institutions to identify emerging trends, develop prototypes, and translate innovative concepts into practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a doctorate in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems and possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 14 years of industry and research experience. Extensive hands-on expertise in electrical power systems, including operation, control, protection, and market dynamics, is essential. Proven experience in leading large research initiatives,



developing hardware and software prototypes, and navigating complex technical environments is required.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong publication record, experience in proposal writing, and the ability to translate research into commercial products. Knowledge of related fields such as power electronics, electrical machines, AI/machine learning, and cybersecurity will be advantageous.

Responsibilities Identify and analyze electrical and grid technology needs in collaboration with engineering, product, and service leaders across GE Vernova.

Work with researchers to detect technology trends with potential for disruption and incorporate these insights into strategic roadmaps.

Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, research institutions, and external organizations to foster innovation.

Develop and manage a robust portfolio of research programs aligned with GE Vernova’s electrification and renewable energy strategies.

Lead early-stage technology development projects, guiding ideas from concept to prototype, and eventually to product launch.

Coordinate efforts across multiple business units to ensure disruptive technologies are integrated into long-term strategic plans.

Design and execute demonstrations of new technologies in laboratory settings for internal stakeholders and external clients.

Contribute to the formulation of multi-year technology and product roadmaps,
