Title: PostgreSQL & Amazon Redshift Engineer

Experience: 10+ Years

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years of experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL for large-scale enterprise databases.
- 5+ years of experience with Amazon Redshift and/or Amazon RDS PostgreSQL.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL query performance tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, statistics, partitioning, and database optimization.
- Experience writing PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, and database scripts.
- Experience with Database Administration activities in PostgreSQL and/or Redshift.
- Robust understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and Star/Snowflake schema design.
- Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical,



and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and/or Web Intelligence (WebI).
- Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including S3, Lambda, EMR, EC2, Kubernetes, Kinesis, etc.
- Linux development experience.
- Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Python programming experience.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.

Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
