We are looking for an experienced and passionate PGT – Political Science & Legal Studies to teach Senior Secondary students. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and experience delivering the CBSE curriculum with a focus on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and real-world application.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Political Science and Legal Studies to Classes XI–XII as per the CBSE curriculum.

- Prepare structured and engaging lesson plans aligned with academic objectives and learning outcomes.

- Develop students’ understanding of political systems, constitutional principles, governance, rights, democracy, and legal concepts.

- Encourage critical thinking, analytical reasoning, debate, discussion, and independent learning.

- Connect classroom concepts with current affairs, contemporary issues, constitutional developments, and real-world legal scenarios.

- Prepare and conduct tests, assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.

- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for academic improvement.

- Identify students’ learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and remedial guidance.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.

- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations.

- Guide students in subject-related projects, research, presentations, debates, Model United Nations, and other academic activities.

- Maintain a positive, inclusive,



and disciplined classroom workplace.

- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership for academic planning and development.

- Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress whenever required.

- Participate in school events, workshops, meetings, seminars, and co-curricular activities.

Requirements

- 4–7 years of teaching experience as a PGT Political Science / Legal Studies Teacher, preferably in a CBSE school.

- Strong knowledge of Political Science and Legal Studies at the Senior Secondary level.

- Good understanding of the CBSE curriculum, examination pattern, and assessment practices.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.

- Ability to simplify complex political and legal concepts through practical examples and discussions.

- Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.

- Ability to integrate current affairs and real-world examples into classroom teaching.

- Passionate about teaching and committed to students’ academic and overall development.

Educational Qualification

- Master’s Degree in Political Science / Law / Legal Studies or a relevant discipline.

- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred, as applicable.

- Candidates with relevant CBSE Senior Secondary teaching experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
