Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Policy Intern.
The Policy
Intern will assist in researching and analyzing policies related to e-commerce, rural development, digital inclusion, and technology adoption. Daily tasks may include reviewing government regulations, drafting policy briefs and position papers, and summarizing key findings for internal and external stakeholders. The intern will support the development of recommendations that align with Digistall’s mission, contribute to presentations and reports, and help track policy changes that impact rural businesses.
The role involves close collaboration with mentors, participation in virtual meetings, and maintaining organized documentation to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications Demonstrated ability to conduct structured research and synthesize information into transparent policy summaries or briefs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas in an accessible way.
Interest in public policy, rural development, digital inclusion, or e-commerce, with a basic understanding of related concepts.
Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, online collaboration platforms) and comfort working remotely.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a virtual environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Public Policy, Economics, Law, Development Studies, Political Science, Business, or a related field.
Prior internship or project experience in policy analysis, research, or social impact initiatives is an advantage.
