About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, operability, and continuous improvement of our enterprise platforms across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Your focus will be on engineering-driven operations, emphasizing automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), observability, and reducing operational toil.

You will serve as the Level 3 escalation point for complex incidents, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to enhance platform stability and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence our platform's operational excellence by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices in site reliability engineering.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in platform or site reliability engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, production environments. You should have hands-on experience with hybrid cloud operations, including both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and a solid understanding of enterprise cloud fundamentals such as compute, networking, storage, and identity management. Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with scripting expertise in Python (preferred), PowerShell, or Bash, is essential.

Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex incidents,



leading major incident responses, and implementing robust RCA processes is required. A strong foundation in networking, virtualization, storage, and operating systems (Windows Server and Linux) is also necessary. Familiarity with ITSM processes, including incident, problem, and change management, and knowledge of Azure cloud platform are highly valued.

Responsibilities Your core responsibilities will include owning the reliability of our hybrid cloud and on-prem platforms by defining and monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will lead operability gates, oversee production readiness, and maintain comprehensive runbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Designing and implementing automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages will be central to your role, enabling health checks, remediation workflows, and auditable self-service capabilities integrated with ITSM systems.

Leading incident diagnosis, stabilization, and recovery efforts for major outages will be a key aspect of your role. You will drive problem management initiatives, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR) and mean time to detect (MTTD). You will define observability standards, including actionable signals, alert quality, dashboards, and logging practices, to ensure efficient monitoring and noise reduction.

Supporting AIOps initiatives, you will leverage predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and machine learning techniques to enable proactive operational insights. Furthermore, you will collaborate with outsourced providers managing L1 and L2 support, ensuring they are equipped with clear runbooks, training, and performance metrics.



Partnering with Platform Engineering teams to incorporate operational insights into platform roadmaps, mentoring peers, and fostering an engineering-led operations culture will be integral to your success.
