Role Summary
1. Identify the challenges in fungal and bacterial diseases and emerging global diseases and initiate the research trials for manage.
2. Design trial protocols, layouts and execute scientific invitro and in vivo trials for our product
3. Conduct bio assay technique, dual plate technique, food poisoning technique on pathogen laboratory studies.
4. Record pathological observations periodically and maintaining high standard of research trials data for reliable outcome.
5. Work with institutional clients on defense solution for holistic disease management.
6. Execution of trials as per protocol and meeting timelines.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct bio assay technique, hand-on experience on dual plate technique, food poisoning technique on pathogen laboratory studies.
2. Capable to isolate and multiply pathogen under controlled condition and conduct trials under controlled condition (glass house condition).
3. Initiation of research for current bio-pesticides products for a emerging diseases.
4. Conducting CRD (completely randomized design) and RBD (randomized block design) trials for diseases control using bio-insecticides.
5. Design trial protocols,
layouts and execute scientific field trials at Multi locations for bio-pesticides.
6. Execution of trials as per protocol and meeting timelines.
7. Travel to field and supervise the trials and developing Technical Assistants/ Field Assistant for conducting trials.
8. Conduct defense solution trials on high value crops, vegetables and fruit crops.
9. Co-ordinating disease management trials with ICAR and agricultural universities.
10. Training to Fertis team on mCyte on disease suppression.
Key Technical/ Functional Competencies
1. Knowledge on plant diseases of major field crops and its identification.
2. ETL (economic threshold level) of various pest and economic damage of diseases on crop loss.
3. Crop production and protection knowledge of various pest/disease management strategies in major field and horticultural crops.
4. Knowledge on various bio-fungicides and efficacy on disease management. Knowledge of comparative, competitive products.
5. Ability to document results, interpret and presentation skills.
