Role & responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant.

- Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.

- Ensure smooth plant operations with minimum downtime.

- Lead and supervise production operators, supervisors, and plant staff.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Logistics, and Dispatch teams.

- Ensure optimum utilisation of manpower, machinery, and plant resources.

- Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.

- Maintain product quality as per company standards and specifications.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

- Monitor inventory, raw material consumption, and finished goods stock.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.





- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for plant maintenance activities.

- Prepare SOPs and ensure proper implementation of plant SOPs and operational discipline.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

- 5-8 years of experience in Plant Operations or Manufacturing.

- Experience in Bitumen, Petroleum, Chemical, or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.

- Robust leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

- Hands-on experience in Production Planning, Maintenance, Inventory Management, and Safety Compliance.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).

- Ability to work independently and manage plant operations efficiently.
