- Monitor and analyze process rejection rates and prepare rejection cost impact reports.
- Analyze standard vs. actual raw material consumption and investigate material variances.
- Review BOM accuracy and coordinate with corporate costing for timely updates.
- Track manpower utilization against PPH standards and analyze productivity variances.
- Monitor machine utilization, downtime, idle time, and OEE to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in BOM review meetings and support standard costing validation.
- Analyze non-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor power and utility consumption against standard norms and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Analyze plant capacity utilization versus actual production and highlight idle capacity costs.
- Prepare Monthly MIS reports covering plant KPIs, variance analysis, and management insights.
- Partner with Production, Quality, Procurement, Stores,
and Corporate Finance teams to improve plant performance and cost efficiency.
Preferred candidate profile
- CA / CMA (Cost Accountant) or MBA Finance from a reputed institute.
- 510 years of experience in Plant Finance, Costing, Manufacturing Finance, or Plant Controlling.
- Robust knowledge of Cost Accounting, Standard Costing, BOM, Variance Analysis, and Inventory Management.
- Experience working in Manufacturing or Process Industry.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (CO/MM) or equivalent ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
