About the Role

Task Tracker Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core PHP , CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4) , and MySQL , with the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions while following industry best practices and coding standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter.
- Write clean, reusable, modular, and maintainable code by following coding standards and software development best practices.
- Develop and optimize MySQL databases, including schema design, complex queries, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Integrate and manage payment gateways, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, and other external services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application, database, and performance-related issues.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Front-end Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.




- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
- Manage source code using Git and follow version control best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure proper code documentation where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development with strong expertise in CodeIgniter (CI3/CI4).
- Excellent command of Core PHP with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, abstraction, interfaces, traits, and SOLID principles.
- Strong ability to write clean, reusable, modular, scalable, and maintainable code following industry coding standards and best practices.
- Strong experience with MySQL, including database design, query optimization, indexing, joins, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, OAuth, and other external APIs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and software design patterns.
- Experience in application performance optimization, code profiling, debugging, and refactoring.
- Good understanding of web application security concepts, including SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Excellent analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
