We are looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop high-performance electronic hardware for wearable and embedded products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in high-speed PCB design, RF hardware, power-efficient circuits, and compact product development from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog and digital hardware for embedded and wearable products.
- Design high-speed PCBs supporting interfaces such as USB, MIPI, DDR, SPI, I2C, UART, and other communication protocols.
- Develop RF hardware for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi applications, including antenna matching and RF signal optimization.
- Design low-power, battery-operated electronic systems with a focus on power optimization and efficiency.
- Create multi-layer PCB layouts with controlled impedance, differential pair routing, and signal integrity considerations.
- Ensure PCB designs comply with EMI/EMC requirements and manufacturing best practices.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNA), and multimeters.
- Troubleshoot board-level issues and optimize hardware performance.
- Work closely with Embedded Firmware, Mechanical, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation.
- Support prototype builds, design verification testing, production validation, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors during prototype and production stages.
- Prepare hardware design documentation, BOMs, test procedures, and release documentation.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in high-speed PCB design.
- Expertise in USB, MIPI, DDR, SPI, I2C, UART, and related interfaces.
- Experience with RF circuit design for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi products.
- Knowledge of antenna matching, RF layout techniques, and 50 transmission line routing.
- Hands-on experience with Altium Designer and/or Cadence PCB design tools.
- Strong understanding of multi-layer PCB stack-up design.

- Strong understanding of battery charging, PMICs, DC-DC converters, LDOs, and low-power hardware architecture.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout review, and component selection.
- Hands-on debugging experience using oscilloscopes, VNA, logic analyzers, and other electronic test equipment.
- Knowledge of DFM, DFA, manufacturing validation, and production support.
