Position: Payroll Executive

Industry: Recruitment & Staffing

Location: Mumbai

Experience Required: 2–3 years (with experience in handling payroll for large employee base, preferably minimum 1000+ across multiple clients)

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end payroll processing for minimum 1000+ employees across multiple clients.
- Collecting, verifying, and consolidating attendance, timesheets, leave records, and inputs from different client sites.
- Calculating salary, overtime, incentives, arrears, reimbursements, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax, etc.).
- Ensuring accurate disbursement of salaries within defined timelines.
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.) as per compliance requirements.
- Handling full & final settlements, gratuity, and other exit-related payroll formalities.
- Coordinating with internal HR, finance, and client SPOCs for smooth payroll operations.
- Resolving employee queries related to salary, deductions, and statutory compliances.
- Maintaining payroll records and reports in an accurate and confidential manner.
- Assisting in audits and compliance checks related to payroll.




- Driving process improvements and automation for efficiency in large-scale payroll management.

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliances, and taxation.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Spine, Saral, GreytHR, etc.) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, formulas).
- Ability to manage high-volume payroll with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client and employee interactions.
- Problem-solving ability to resolve payroll discrepancies quickly.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce / Finance / HR (B.Com / M.Com / MBA preferred).
- 2–3 years of payroll experience in Recruitment/Staffing industry (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in handling payroll for minimum 1000+ employees across multiple clients.
