1. Shift Timings: 05:30 pm IST to 2.30 am IST, might change depending on the client’s requirement.

Note: If required to work the night shift as per client requirements, you will receive a night shift allowance of 3,000 per month, complimentary cab services (or a 2,000 travel reimbursement if self-arranged), and complimentary dinner.
1. Qualifications and skill sets needed: a. At least prior 1 to 3 years of experience in payment posting in Revenue Cycle Management.

b. Strong understanding of insurance verification, EOBs, RAs, and explanation of claims.

c. Proficiency in billing software, healthcare management systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

d. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

e. Good problem-solving and communication skills.

f. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and strict adherence to confidentiality of patient information.

g. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

2. Roles and Responsibilities a. Post payments, denials, adjustments, and refunds from insurance carriers, government programs (Medicare/Medicaid), and patients into the billing system.

b. Review and reconcile payments with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Remittance Advices (RAs).

c. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or payment posting errors.

d. Ensure all payments are posted accurately and in a timely manner to patient accounts.





e. Work closely with the billing and collections teams to resolve issues related to payment posting and denials.

f. Research and resolve underpayments, overpayments, or misapplied payments.

g. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payment posting activities.

h. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable (AR) team to facilitate the resolution of outstanding claims and payments.

i. Assist in the identification of trends in payment discrepancies or denials and recommend improvements to processes.

j. Meet productivity and quality standards for payment posting within the department.
