Role Description The Owner role at Forge Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Owner will oversee end-to-end operations, including strategic planning, production workflows, financial performance, and vendor relationships in an AI-enabled manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include supervising manufacturing teams, ensuring quality and delivery standards are met, and guiding product development in line with DTC apparel market trends.

The role involves managing budgets, setting performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to optimize efficiency and scalability. The Owner will also represent the company in key partnerships,



drive business development initiatives, and foster an inclusive, safety-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in apparel or textiles, with a strong understanding of production planning and quality control.

- Knowledge of AI, automation, or data-driven tools applied to manufacturing or supply chain management.

- Background in business leadership, entrepreneurship, or ownership, including strategic planning, budgeting, and P&L; responsibility.

- Familiarity with direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models, e-commerce, and modern retail channels.

- Robust organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities on-site.

- Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, promote collaboration, and maintain a respectful, non-discriminatory work environment.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers, partners, and customers.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.

- Prior experience working in or managing facilities in the Greater Hyderabad Area or similar industrial hubs is preferred.
